Market Research & Strat Planning

Making a case for strategic planning involves (really) knowing where/how it fits in marketing and advertising efforts. Nancy Tag at City College in NYC asked me to describe the difference(s) between reserachers and account planners and I sent her the visuals below about this time last year.

I go back to it often as I build AlixCompany and find myself needing to sell Strat Planning as an approach (and as a service through Planner For Awhile) to clients. Sharing here again with you (original posting 11/2/10)
